The National Institute of Health states that more than 700,000 people in the United States suffer from a stroke, with the surviving two-thirds requiring rehabilitation. Though rehabilitation cannot reverse the effects of a stroke, research does show that early rehabilitation can maximize a person’s recovery. The proper care and therapy can determine the outcome and help survivors regain independence and attain the best quality of life. Our comprehensive treatment will focus on improving strength, coordination, mobility, balance, and communication. Restoring functional movement is emphasized using advanced technologies, such as our Lite Gait treadmill with overhead balance support, biofeedback, active-assistive strengthening machines, and orthotics.
