Speech Therapy

Our Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) work closely with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate and treat our patients who have difficulty swallowing and who need diet modifications. An important aspect of rehabilitation is to improve safe and functional swallowing of foods and liquids. This includes a restorative dining program. SLP's also provide intensive treatment for individuals who exhibit disorders in the following areas:

• Speech
• Voice
• Expressive and receptive language
• Attention
• Memory and cognition

In addition, our SLP works with individuals who have difficulty swallowing along with treatment, diet modifications may be made to improve safe and functional swallowing of foods and liquids.
