Rehabilitation for individuals who have had an amputation emphasizes the physical recovery, but we also recognize the emotional, psychological and social issues that people encounter after this procedure. Our amputee rehabilitation program includes comprehensive patient care during the post-surgical healing which includes a wound care team and physicians who will manage the daily, complex medical needs. Physical and Occupational Therapists improve individual’s strength and coordination with daily intensive therapy program.

Adaptive equipment is provided to address mobility and activities of daily living. And comprehensive management of pain is coordinated by the entire interdisciplinary team. Our physicians, nurses and therapy team collaborates closely with the referring surgeons to ensure excellence in the individual’s recovery. We will provide education and guidance on orthotic and prosthetic services, which will include the evaluation, design and fitting of an orthoses and/or prostheses.
